Public Talk and Cochineal Dye Workshop with Porfirio Gutiérrez

Please join us for a public talk on Thursday, May 9 with Porfirio Gutiérrez, whose exhibition Cosmos/Continuous Line is currently on view. Taking place at the Crowley Theater in Marfa at 6:00 p.m., the artist’s talk will focus on the use of natural dyes in his work.

Following the talk, Gutiérrez will offer a two-day cochineal dye workshop on Saturday, May 11, and Sunday, May 12, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. each day. Participation for the entire duration of the workshop is required.
