Made in Marfa is a showcase of diverse, creative talent presented by the residents and businesses of Marfa and organized and promoted by the Chinati Foundation.
The second annual city-wide event takes place this year on Friday, October 9 during Chinati Weekend, the museumís fall celebration, and features food, art, craft, music, and performances.
There is no charge to participate and all full-time residents and businesses of Marfa are invited and encouraged to join.
The event will be promoted in Chinatiís advertising for the weekend, including web, social media, and newspaper ads as well as in printed posters, flyers, and programs distributed to hotels, businesses, and organizations throughout the area. A Made in Marfa map listing participating venues will be available on both the Chinati website and in print form for weekend visitors.
Participants must provide their own venue and submit full details about their event by September 1, 2015 in order to be listed in Chinatiís promotional materials. Participation is limited to full-time residents, businesses, and organizations based in Marfa.
