Artist Jay Heikes is in residence at Chinati for the months of January and February 2017, working at the Locker Plant in downtown Marfa. Heikes will open the studio and share his work with the community on Saturday, February 18 from noon until 5pm. Everyone is invited.
Chinati's educational and public programming is supported with generous grants from the Texas Commission on the Arts, National Endowment for the Arts, The William Randolph Hearst Foundations, the Carl B. & Florence E. King Foundation, Cowles Charitable Trust, and Suzanne Tick. Marfa ISD's and Chinati's Entreflamenco programming would not be possible without the generous support of Matthew & Mikelle Kruger. Chinati is grateful for the generous financial support of our members and the support and in-kind contributions of the people of Marfa.
