Expanded self-guided viewing hours at Chinati

The Chinati Foundation is excited to announce expanded hours for self-guided viewings of the collection and special exhibitions.

Reservations are not necessary for self-guided viewing.

Robert Irwin’s new permanent installation at Chinati, untitled (dawn to dusk), 2016, is now open for self-guided viewing 3-5pm, Wednesday-Sunday.  Please purchase tickets at the Chinati visitor center.

In the Ice Plant in downtown Marfa, Chinati is exhibiting, for the first time, two stainless steel, five-part floor works by Donald Judd.  These untitled works are available for self-guided viewing, 12:30-2:30pm, Wednesday-Sunday.

Donald Judd’s 100 works in mill aluminum remain on view noon-3pm, Wednesday-Sunday.  Please purchase tickets at the Chinati visitor center.  Visitors may also walk the kilometer long, outdoor path and view Donald Judd’s untitled 15 works in concrete, free of charge during museum hours (9am-5pm, Wednesday-Sunday).
