HOLIDAY HOURS AT CHINATI
Chinati will hold regular museum hours Wednesday through Sunday during the December holiday season. We will also host a special sunset viewing of Donald Judd’s 100 works in mill aluminum and 15 freestanding works in concrete as well as Robert Irwin’s untitled (dawn to dusk) on Sunday, December 30, 2018 from 5pm to 6pm. BRIDGET RILEY: A LARGE-SCALE NEW WALL PAINTING
In October 2017, the Chinati Foundation inaugurated a large new multicolored wall painting by Bridget Riley conceived specifically for the museum’s special exhibition building. The work debuted during Chinati Weekend 2017, and will remain on view through 2019.
