Guided tours and open viewing are available by reservation. Please note that Chinati’s front gate closes at 4 PM.

Chinati’s main grounds occupy the 340-acre site of a former military base, Fort D.A. Russell. This location houses most of Chinati’s permanently installed collection, special exhibition spaces, offices, and residences
