The Chinati Foundation

Wednesday – Sunday, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. Final entry for all visitors is 4 p.m.

Guided tours are the best way to see Chinati’s collection. Advance reservations are strongly encouraged.

Chinati’s main grounds occupy the 340-acre site of a former military base, Fort D.A. Russell. This location houses most of Chinati’s permanently installed collection, special exhibition spaces, offices, and residences.
