Wednesday – Sunday, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. Final entry for all visitors is 4 p.m.

Many of Chinati’s permanently installed works are only accessible via guided tour. Select installations can be visited through open viewing.

Reservations for guided tours are required, and they are strongly encouraged for open viewing.

Chinati’s main grounds occupy the 340-acre site of a former military base, Fort D.A. Russell. This location houses most of Chinati’s permanently installed collection, special exhibition spaces, offices, and residences.
