Chinati Weekend 2015: Streaming Live from Marfa
Everyone is invited to Chinati Weekend, October 9 – 11, 2015. The museum will host talks over the weekend that are open to the public and free of charge.
On Saturday afternoon, October 10, at the Crowley Theater Iman Issa, an artist based in New York City and Cairo, will discuss the work of Chinati’s founder Donald Judd.
Following that, Jenny Moore, director, will discuss the work of artists Charlotte Posenenske and Peter Roehr. The first museum presentation in America devoted to Posenenske and Roehr opens to the public at Chinati on Saturday morning, October 10.
The talks begin at 3:15 pm.
For those unable to attend the events in Marfa, Chinati will video stream the Saturday afternoon lectures by Issa and Moore live from the Crowley Theater live on this page.
