Chinati Master Plan Community Forum
In August, the Chinati Foundation initiated a master planning process with Boston-based firm Sasaki. The master plan will provide a framework for decision making about the entire Chinati site, including the land, buildings, art, as well as the preservation and future growth of the museum.
The public is invited to attend a community forum at 6pm Tuesday, December 6th at the USO Building in Marfa. Staff from Chinati and Sasaki will discuss the master plan initiative and open the floor to questions and further discussions. Light refreshments will be served. Please join us and be a part of the discussion.
Chinati’s master plan initiative is supported by a significant grant from the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation, with additional funding from the Kirkpatrick Family Fund, Still Water Foundation and Chinati trustees. Chinati is grateful for the financial support of our members, as well as the support and contributions of the people of Marfa and far West Texas.
