Chinati Presents: Emily Sunblad and Matt Sweeney

The Chinati Foundation is pleased to present a recital with Emily Sundblad and Matt Sweeney on Friday, January 29, 2016 at 8:00 PM at the Crowley Theatre in downtown Marfa. The event is part of our ongoing Chinati Presents programming and is free to everyone.

Emily Sundblad is an artist, performer and the co-founder and co-director of Reena Spaulings Fine Art, New York. She was born in 1977 in Sweden, received her BFA from Parsons School of Design in New York in 2003, and attended the Whitney Museum’s Independent Study Program.

Matt Sweeney is a guitarist, vocalist and producer. Sundblad and Sweeney have performed together and recently collaborated on the record For Shirley Collins, a tribute to the British folk singer.
