Chinati Presents: Lynne Tillman

Chinati Foundation and the Marfa Book Company will host a reading by author Lynne Tillman on Saturday,November 7, 2015, 6:00 PM at the Marfa Book Company at the Lumberyard, 213 South Dean Street, Marfa, Texas.

Lynne Tillman is a writer and critic and author of novels, short stories, essays and non-fiction. She was awarded a Guggenheim Foundation Fellowship and was a finalist for the National Book Critics Circle award in criticism for her collection of essays, What Would Lynne Tillman Do?  She writes a bi-monthly column, “In These Intemperate Times,” for Frieze magazine, and often collaborates with visual artists. Tillman is an educator in art criticism and writing at the School for Visual Arts, New York, and professor and writer in residence at the University of Albany. She is a visiting artist at the Chinati Foundation and lives and works in New York City.
