Jen Rosenblit

Jen Rosenblit has been making performance in New York City since 2005. Rosenblit was a 2015–16 Movement Research artist in residence and the recipient of a 2014 New York Dance and Performance “Bessie” Award for Emerging Choreographer. In 2013 Rosenblit was a fellow at Insel Hombroich (Germany). Rosenblit has received commissions from the Kitchen (2014, Bessie Award), Issue Project Room (2013), New York Live Arts (2012), and Danspace Project (2010). Rosenblit shared a preview of her newest work,Clap Hands, in April in Chinati’s Arena, a piece also supported by residencies at Tanzhaus (Zürich) and the Atlanta Contemporary Art Center (Atlanta, GA), and part of MoMA PS1’s exhibitionGreater New York. It had its premiere at the Invisible Dog Art Center in Brooklyn, NY, co-presented with New York Live Arts.
