Entreflamenco

The flamenco dance troupe, Entreflamenco, from Santa Fe, returns to Chinati this summer! Entreflamenco principle dancers Antonio Granjero and Estefania Ramirez will lead students in percussion and dance classes as part of the museum’s collaboration with Marfa ISD’s Camp Summer Shake-Up June 20 – 23.

Students in grades 1st through 8th who wish to participate are encouraged to sign up early for this special opportunity. Young dancers should arrive at Marfa ISD cafeteria at 8:45. Classes take place in Marfa High School Auditorium. The class culminates with a demonstration showcasing student dancers in the USO on Friday, June 24.

A free full-length professional performance by Entreflamenco is set for Saturday, June 25 at the Crowley Theater. Last year’s performance was spectacular and Chinati welcomes public attendance.
