Nate Lowman was born in 1979 in Las Vegas and received a BS from New York University in 2001. His work, in the form of painting, drawing, collage, prints, or sculpture, often incorporates found, photographed, or stolen popular images that are manipulated, redrawn, multiplied, or otherwise transformed into graphically powerful comments on contemporary American culture.
