The Chinati Foundation/La Fundación Chinati invites you to its 34th annual Chinati Weekend Open House for an in-person gathering in Marfa, Texas. From Friday, October 8 through Sunday, October 10, the weekend includes open viewing of the collection, new exhibitions, and a series of public programs and events. It is an opportunity to gather together to celebrate the art and culture of Chinati.

Everyone is welcome.

Masks will be required in all indoor spaces and when interacting with Chinati staff. Capacity will be managed.

Performance – A site-specific ensemble performance by trombonist David Dove, composed in response to the acoustical spaces of Dan Flavin’s untitled (Marfa project).

 

Commissioned by Chinati with special permission from the Estate of Dan Flavin.
