Performance – A site-specific ensemble performance by trombonist David Dove, composed in response to the acoustical spaces of Dan Flavin’s untitled (Marfa project).

 

Commissioned by Chinati with special permission from the Estate of Dan Flavin.

This artist’s talk is one of four commissions occasioned by the recent conservation of Flavin’s permanent installation at Chinati with 336 new fluorescent lamps.
