There will be an exhibition and reception for Chinati artist in residence Yuh-Shioh Wong on Thursday, April 18, 2013 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Locker Plant.

The Chinati Foundation invites the public to a group exhibition of prints created during the museum’s recent series of adult printmaking workshops on Wednesday, April 10 from 5 – 7:00 PM.

Get your garden started during the seedling workshop on Sunday, April 7, 2013 from 2 – 4:00 PM at the Chinati garden.

An introduction to 3 printmaking techniques: linocut, photo etching and screen printing. Taught by local artists, the next workshop is March 30 and 31, 2013.

Students ages 5 - 13 are invited to Chinati during spring break for afternoons full of creative, hands-on fun with other students from across the tri-county area. The program takes place Tuesday through Friday, March 12 – 15 from 2:30 – 5:00 PM and all students are welcome.

Chinati presents, with Marfa Book Company, two readings: Wallace Shawn reads The Fever, Wednesday, Feb 27, 2013, 7:30 PM, Crowley Theatre. Deborah Eisenberg reads Your Duck is My Duck, Friday, March 1, 7:30 PM, Marfa Book Company.

An opening reception for Chinati’s Artist in Residence Matt Roberts at the Ice Plant on Thursday, February 21st from 6:00 until 8:00 PM.

Everyone is invited to an evening viewing of Donald Judd’s 100 untitled works in mill aluminum and 15 untitled works in concrete Friday, February 16 from 5:30 – 7:00 PM. The event is free for museum members and area residents.

December 1, 8, 15, and 22, 2012 from 1 – 3:00 PM. Families are invited to join us on Saturday afternoons in December for art activities in the Chinati ArtLab. A variety of projects designed for students ages 3 and up with an adult companion will be offered. No registration is necessary.
