Seeing Poetry exhibition and reading
Please join us, Wednesday, November 4, 2015 for Seeing Poetry, an exhibition of original poetry written and screen printed by the Marfa High School freshman class. The installation will open to the public at 5:00 pm in the Arena, with a reading by the young artists at 6:00 pm. The reading will be followed by a reception from 6:30-7:30 pm in the courtyard.

Charlotte Posenenske and Peter Roehr
The Chinati Foundation’s new two-person exhibition features work by Charlotte Posenenske (1930–1985) and Peter Roehr (1944–1968). This is the first major American museum presentation devoted to these artists.
Chinati Weekend 2015: Made in Marfa
Made in Marfa, the second annual citywide showcase of local, creative talent, will take place on Friday, October 9, 2015, as part of Chinati Weekend. Artists, shops, galleries, and other businesses will participate with open studios, live music, food and drinks, and exhibition openings.
Chinati Weekend 2015: Artists in Residence Open Studio
Chinati Foundation artists in residence Matt Connors, Ricky Swallow and Lesley Vance will have an open studio on Friday, October 9, 2015, from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at the Locker Plant in downtown Marfa.

Please join us for Chinati Weekend 2015 featuring a new special exhibition of work by Charlotte Posenenske and Peter Roehr, self-guided viewing of the collection, talks, performances, the annual benefit dinner, and a special sunrise viewing. The collection, exhibitions, talks, and performances are all free of charge.

Chinati Presents: Unset
Chinati will host the premiere of Unset, a site-specific musical performance created by composer Andrew May, on Saturday, August 1, 2015 at 8:00 pm. The piece will be performed among Donald Judd’s 15 untitled works in concrete, inviting listeners to focus their attention on the resonant interiors of the works.
Larry Bell Exhibition Closing
6x6 an improvisation, Chinati"s special exhibition by Larry Bell, closes Sunday, July 26, 2015. Chinati will offer open viewing hours on the final weekend of the exhibition. Please join us Saturday, July 25 and Sunday, July 26 from 2 - 4:00 pm.
