Wednesday – Sunday, 9 AM – 5 PM. Final entry for all visitors is 4 PM.
Open Viewing provides limited access to the museum grounds and select works of art in the collection. Tickets are available for purchase on a daily basis at the Visitor Center.
Indoor Viewing
Select installations have scheduled hours. Access is seasonal and changes throughout the year.

- 11 AM – 1:45 PM: Donald Judd’s 100 untitled works in mill aluminum
- 2 PM – 4:45 PM: Dan Flavin’s untitled (Marfa Project) and the Special Exhibition Gallery with installations of work by John Chamberlain and Sarah Crowner
Outdoor Viewing
Visitors can walk the path along Donald Judd’s 15 untitled works in concrete, visit Claes Oldenburg and Coosje van Bruggen’s Monument to the Last Horse, as well as take in exterior views of Judd’s 100 untitled works in mill aluminum and the John Wesley Gallery. Visitors will be able to survey the historic architecture of Fort D. A. Russell as adapted by Judd and experience the grasslands, wildlife, and open space that brought him to Marfa.
1.6 mile loop walking trail, plan for approximately 1.5 hours. Sturdy, closed-toe shoes are strongly encouraged.
