Chinati Foundation, Marfa Book Company and the Marfa Public library host a free, two-day workshop for high school students and adults, Wednesdays, June 6 & 13, 2012 from 4 – 6 PM. Public Reading on Friday, June 15 at 6 PM at the Marfa Book Company.

Chinati invites the community to an open studio reception for artist in Residence Frank Benson on Friday, June 1, 2012, from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at the Locker Plant in downtown Marfa.

On Community Day, Sunday April 29, 2012 from 11 AM – 7 PM, a group exhibition of new textile work by Marfa High School art students will be on view at the Arena.

Chinati and the Marfa Book Company present a preview screening in advance of the sixth season of Art in the Twenty-First Century. The screening will feature episode 4 of the new season, entitled Balance, featuring Rackstraw Downes, Robert Mangold, and Sarah Sze.
